Job Description

We are seeking an Executive Director to oversee the daily operations and strategic direction of the Council. The ideal candidate is a "hands-on" leader who is comfortable wearing many hats—from community outreach and bookkeeping to operational management. While experience in non-profit leadership is a plus, we prioritize candidates with strong organizational skills, financial literacy, and a heart for the Boyertown community. The Board of Directors is committed to providing full mentorship and support to ensure the new Director's success.
Responsibilities Operational Leadership:
Manage day-to-day activities and ensure the organization stays aligned with its mission.
Financial Oversight:
Handle bookkeeping tasks and collaborate with the Treasurer to manage the budget and maintain fiscal transparency.
Grant Management:
Monitor grant requirements, track deadlines, and ensure compliance reports are submitted accurately and on time.
Community Engagement:
Act as the face of the Council, building relationships with local stakeholders, partners, and volunteers.
Board Collaboration:
Work closely with the Board of Directors to implement strategic goals and provide regular updates on organizational health. Qualifications Proven experience in leadership, office management, or non-profit administration. Proficiency in bookkeeping and budget management is highly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.
Growth Mindset:
While previous grant writing experience is a plus, a willingness to learn grant administration and compliance is essential.

Benefits:
Flexible schedule
