Description Executive Director (Part-Time) Oklahoma Coalition for Affordable Housing (OCAH) Oklahoma (Remote / Hybrid) Position Overview The Oklahoma Coalition for Affordable Housing (OCAH) is seeking a part-time Executive Director to lead the operations of the organization and support its mission to advance affordable housing across Oklahoma. The Executive Director works closely with the Board of Directors to coordinate organizational activities, support membership engagement, manage events, and oversee administrative and financial functions. Time Commitment Approximately 25 hours per week, with flexibility based on organizational needs, meetings, and events. Key Responsibilities Operations Manage daily operations of the organization Maintain organizational systems, records, and calendars Grow the membership/revenue of the organization Grow the impact of the organization Coordinate activities across Board, committees, and contractors Board & Committee Support Coordinate Board and committee meetings Prepare agendas, materials, and meeting minutes Track and follow up on action items Membership & Sponsorship Support membership recruitment and retention Maintain membership records and communications Assist with sponsorship outreach and fulfillment Events Plan and coordinate organizational events, including: Capitol Day Membership Appreciation Day Annual Mtg Other member meetings and trainings Manage Annual Conference Coordinator. Financial Coordination Track income and expenses Manage invoicing and payments Coordinate with Treasurer and external accounting support Provide financial updates for Board meetings and Finance Committee Meetings Advocacy & External Coordination Support Governmental Affairs Committee activities Monitor relevant housing policy developments Coordinate communication with stakeholders Communications Manage member communications and newsletters Maintain website updates and basic social media Support event promotion and organizational messaging Manage the Marketing/Comms Manager Qualifications Experience in nonprofit, association, or program management Strong organizational and administrative skills Ability to manage multiple priorities independently Experience working with boards or committees Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience in housing, community development, or public policy preferred Work Environment Remote work with periodic in-person meetings and events Flexible schedule aligned with organizational needs About OCAH The Oklahoma Coalition for Affordable Housing (OCAH) is a statewide organization dedicated to advancing the development and preservation of affordable housing through advocacy, education, and collaboration. Requirements Qualifications Required 3+ years in nonprofit, association, or program management, ideally in a small or lean-staffed organization where you owned a wide range of functions Proven ability to run multiple priorities independently with minimal oversight (this role is the operational backbone of OCAH) Direct experience working with a Board of Directors and committees, including preparing agendas, materials, and minutes Strong organizational and administrative skills, with a track record of building or maintaining systems, records, and calendars Comfort with basic financial coordination: tracking income and expenses, invoicing, and partnering with a Treasurer or external accountant Excellent written and verbal communication, including newsletters, member communications, and event promotion Event planning and coordination experience Preferred Background in affordable housing, community development, or public policy Experience supporting advocacy or governmental affairs work, including monitoring policy developments Membership recruitment/retention or sponsorship and fundraising experience Experience managing contractors or part-time staff Familiarity with website updates and social media basics
