The Executive Director is the driving force behind Seager Memorial Clinic's mission of providing free, easy-access, non-judgmental, charitable medical, dental, vision and mental health care to the underserved. In collaboration with the Board of Directors, this role drives strategic priorities, oversees financial stewardship, and leads fundraising efforts to sustain and grow clinic operations. The Executive Director also cultivates strong community partnerships and supports a dedicated network of more than 80 clinical and non-clinical monthly volunteers who make more than 2,900 patient visits possible each year.Responsibilities:
Development & Fundraising:
Raise significant funding annually through grants, events, and donor stewardship Cultivate and maintain donor and community relationships Oversee grant writing and reporting with a high level of accuracy Lead key fundraising events, including the Charity Recital ($20,000 goal) and annual Legacy Donor service projects (1,000 hygiene kits) Partner with the Board to build a significant endowment by 2030Financial Management:
Oversee budget, financial reporting, and organizational financial health Ensure accurate tracking of transactions in QuickBooks Manage financial processes, including mail and expense tracking Coordinate annual audit or financial reviewClinic Operations & Programs:
Oversee clinic operations to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care Supervise Clinic Manager, Community Health Worker, and volunteers, including recruitment, training, and mentorship Foster a collaborative, supportive, mission-driven culture Track and evaluate key metrics (patient visits, volunteer engagement, service utilization) Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain policies and procedures Oversee facility maintenance and safety Drive strategic growth, including expanded hours and free servicesCommunity Engagement:
Serve as the public face of the organization Build and maintain community partnerships Participate in coalitions and relevant associations Advocate for underserved populations and promote clinic impactBoard Relations & Governance:
Serve as liaison to the Board of Directors Organize quarterly meetings and follow up on action items Implement strategic priorities set by the Board Provide monthly reports on performance and progressRequirements:
Full-time, salaried position Bachelor's Degree with five years of relevant work experience; Master's Degree preferredSkills & Experience:
Demonstrated commitment to serving underserved and vulnerable populations Proven ability to raise a minimum of $450,000 annually through grant writing, donor cultivation, and stewardship Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively delegate, motivate, and develop staff and volunteers Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and stakeholder engagement Experience in planning and executing successful events and fundraising initiatives Highly organized with strong project management and time management abilities Ability to build, strengthen, and sustain meaningful community partnerships Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and resource allocation Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software Familiarity with healthcare operations or similar experience; experience managing or supporting a medical clinic is preferred Proficiency with Google Workspace, Zoom, and social media platformsCompensation:
