The Field Director leads the field service department and ensures the successful execution of all district operations. A key focus is selecting, training, and supporting a team of results-driven executives. The Field Director helps shape and implement the Council's strategic direction. Reports to the Deputy Scout Executive Oversee the field team, providing coaching, guidance, and leadership Drives membership growth and development Strengthens relationships with chartered partners Leads District Friends of Scouting campaigns Supports commissioner staff and volunteer engagement Recruits and trains volunteers Guides career development for field staff Bachelor's degree in a related field Proven success in membership growth Strong organizational and communication skills Fundraising experience Passion for team development Effective volunteer recruitment abilities The salary range is $90,000-$110,000 annually. Full-time employees will be eligible for the BSA benefits program, which includes life insurance, medical, vision, dental, long-term disability, accident insurance, and enrollment in our matching 403(b) retirement plan. Employees receive 13 paid holidays, 1 day of vacation time accrued each month based on tenure, bereavement leave, marriage leave, and volunteer BSA service.
