is seeking a highly analytical and strategically minded professional to support a critical national security space mission in El Segundo, CA. The successful candidate will work alongside senior government leaders, engineers, operators, and mission stakeholders to support high-visibility efforts shaping the future of national security space capabilities. Responsibilities Use modern analytical and AI-enabled tools to improve research, workflow efficiency, and communication effectiveness Analyze complex mission, operational, acquisition, and organizational challenges and provide clear recommendations and tradeoffs Rapidly synthesize technical, operational, and programmatic information into concise, actionable insights Support future mission and capability planning efforts across the national security space enterprise Anticipate leadership needs and proactively identify solutions that improve mission outcomes Coordinate across multiple organizations and stakeholders to support alignment of mission objectives and priorities Develop executive-level decision briefs, strategic assessments, and presentations that support senior leadership decisions Operate independently with sound judgment in dynamic, high-visibility mission environments Qualifications Successful candidates will typically demonstrate: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to create concise, persuasive briefings and presentations for senior leaders Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar subject matter and operate effectively in ambiguous environments Initiative, resourcefulness, and strong organizational awareness Ability to independently manage priorities and drive efforts forward with minimal oversight Familiarity with AI-assisted research, analysis, or productivity tools is desired Ability to balance strategic perspective with technical understanding Experience and Education Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience supporting space systems acquisition, integration, engineering, operations, strategy, or related national security programs MS/MA degree in systems engineering, engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or related technical field Ability to independently perform all functional duties with limited supervision Clearance Requirements Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Knowledge of applicable security protocols and procedures Salary $150,000
- $180,000 per year Base pay is determined by factors including contract labor categories, education, technical expertise, certifications, skills, and relevant experience.
