Job Description
Analyst II, PDC Operations Riverside, CA Job Details $54,363.95
- $80,186.
- which are installed on new vehicles in the United States and Canada.
Other responsibilities include:
analyzing RFQ (Request for Quote) process, pricing review and negotiation, as well as budget control and invoice management. The Investment Analyst will also participate in research, compilation, and analysis of data to ensure supplier quotations align with the benchmark, tracking and managing costs, explaining any variances, and coordinating projects and updates with PDC OPS and Lean Operations Depts. This role also includes project management tasks, completion reporting, as well as supporting Leadership, Coordinators, and Admin's requests and questions. The Analyst is expected to conduct market research and data analysis of raw materials and components for future investments. Key ResponsibilitiesPROCUREMENT
(30%) Complete and translate full business cases for Capital Investment under the direction of Management and Coordinators Capital investment business case presentation to Senior Managers Submit RFQs to supplier for established bidding processes, monitor award process and submit "Letter of Intent" to suppliers. Attention needed to ensure labor costs, machine costs, and material costs are consistent and accurate. Oversee PDC Supply inventory and purchasing costs, and help choose cost-effective vendors. Assist with negotiations and contracts for services and materials. Work with suppliers and help manage their performance. Participate in supplier selection and assess, monitor, and control direct costs related to accessory parts by discussing and agreeing on prices.BUDGET CONTROL AND INVOICE MANAGEMENT
(15%) Review, endorse, and track project budgets and spending. Help manage budget differences by collaborating closely with procurement and project management teams. Make sure that invoices are processed accurately and on time, and communicate with suppliers and our internal finance team. Check invoices for errors and differences. Prepare and maintain expense reports.PROJECT MANAGEMENT
(15%) Support and contribute to individual-led projects, like acquiring equipment for facilities, while working together with Project Managers on larger team initiatives. Break down tasks for individual projects, set timelines, and assess potential risks and opportunities as a team. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify and clarify the requirements, scope, and objectives of individual projects. Actively track the progress of individual projects as a team, address issues together, and keep everyone informed about project status. Work closely with Project Managers to provide support and share information for team projects. Ensure resources are available and appropriately allocated for individual projects, managing schedules and expectations collectively.ON TIME LAUNCH
(15%) Monitor the vendor's activities to ensure the timely delivery of materials to support project completion. Help and support team members in handling purchase orders, making sure supplies arrive on time from suppliers, and handling invoices to complete orders. Oversee project deadlines, progress, and outcomes to ensure a timely launchNEWTORK SUPPORT
(10%) Continuous analysis of PDC equipment requirements based on updates in employee headcount and IB/OB volumes. Collate Capital Expenditure requests from all SCM sources (PDC Managers, SCM HQ Management Team, Coordinators) and submit Budgetary summaries for review and approval Monitor and measure supplier performance based on cost, quality and delivery criteria.OTHER DUTIES
(15%) Support the purchasing department's continuous improvement initiatives. Review project proposal Suggest improvements to MPA and Vendor purchasing systems to improve efficiencies, communication, and lead times for deliveries. Perform ancillary duties as requested by management Work Schedule & Travel Requirements Monday through Friday, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm.
