JOB SUMMARY
To utilize the tools and resources available through our syndicated data supplier to provide insights to drive the growth of the company's branded products across all channels and classes of trade. This would include sales analysis, brand performance, competitive reviews within the primary and adjacent categories, adhoc projects that would enhance our position with our retail accounts and assist in developing "benefit selling" concepts for the Field Sales Team and Broker Network.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Review and prepare a monthly "Top Line" sales report for Snack and Culinary Nuts to be distributed throughout the organization to be used as a benchmark for monitoring the success of current sales strategies and execution of the Field Sales organization. Provide the Field Sales team with tools that can be used at an account level to illustrate performance of current events in the market and at the account level. Update and maintain the "Culinary Master," "Snack Master" and "Produce Master" presentations on the share drive where they are accessible for use by the Executive Sales Team and the Field Sales Team. Keep the syndicated data slides of these reports current on a monthly basis. Monitor and update changes needed on the marketing portions of these presentations. Assist in adding the account or market specific selling story as requests are made from the Executive Team or the Field Sales Team. Assist the Marketing team in providing data points for use in developing marketing plans, new items, presentations and identifying possible opportunities for achieving our growth targets. Assist the Trade Funds Supervisor in the validating the annual dollar volume numbers and product mix allocations used in building any "Volume Based Contracts" that the company may be bidding on. Assist in providing information for the regional and national sales meetings. Work diligently to ensure that we have the best syndicated data resources available to include assisting in negotiating the data service agreement, managing personnel supplied by the data service provider, updating the latest software for all sockets available and organizing training for all sockets by the service provider. Assist Trade Funds Supervisor in the development of the Sales Forecast that is submitted to the Executive Team for use in building the business plan.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend training provided by the data service provider to ensure the company is utilizing "best practice" methods available and is staying current in the offerings in the industry.
QUALIFICATIONS
Three years' experience in the preparation of sales analyses, building "fact based" presentations and forecast preparation in a CPG environment. A bachelor's degree in business management or a related field, with emphasis on mathematics or statistics.
Salary Range:
$70k - $90
K Bonus Target:
