Computer Operations Analyst

Job Title:

Operations Analyst Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent combined education and experience, with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience. This role requires maintaining DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification throughout the contract period and holding an active DoD Secret Clearance. Responsibilities Perform daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment. Provide first-level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local hardware, software, and networks. Document and report all events/issues to the CWO and receive tasking and direction from the CCC for all operations, test, and real-world events. Assist in all hardware/software installations as directed by local SMEs. Create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO. Essential Skills Sound experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments. Experience in system and/or network administration including UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco, and Juniper. Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software components. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience and knowledge of System or Missile Defense Systems is preferred. TS/SCI clearance is preferred. Must hold a Security+ CE certification or equivalent and an active clearance to start. Work Environment This position requires rotating 24x7 shift work. Candidates will be assigned to a shift and assignment (Operations or Training) based on mission requirements. Some substitute rotation during off-shifts, including nights and weekends, will be required. The role is full-time and located at an Air Force Base. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
