Top Secret Mission Operations Analyst

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Mission Operations Analyst to join its team supporting classified programs at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. This role is integral to maintaining and monitoring a 24/7 operational environment, and candidates must be open to working rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide front-line support for real-time operations involving missile tracking and prediction systems. Serve as a customer-facing liaison, coordinating operational activities and ensuring mission success. Monitor system performance and maintain operational readiness through Tier 1 and Tier 2 support. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux operating systems, including scripting, patching, and system restoration. Deliver technical presentations and produce analytical reports as needed. Conduct performance analysis of missile tracking systems and maintain accurate system status logs. Support Ground and Flight Test operations, including data analysis and event tracking

Pay Range:

Pay will be hourly and varies by level of experience.

Average Range:

$70,000-112,000 annually. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. • DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, Must be willing to sit for CI Poly
• Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II Certification
• 2+ years of related experience with Systems troubleshooting and Analysis
• Strong Linux OS experience (troubleshooting, patching, etc
• must be comfortable with command line, permissions, directories, etc)
• Ability/willingness to work rotational shift work (12hr shifts that can include weekends and/or holidays
• current need is for a night shift)
• Experience supporting a 24/7 operations environment, maintaining and monitoring mission critical environments
• Scripting experience in Python or related shell languages (ability to run scripts)
• Experience with NetApp, RSA, Cisco, and HPE servers
• Experience in an operational environment
• Understanding of basic statistics
• Experience with missile trajectory analysis
• Familiarity with the Ballistic Missile Defense System
• Familiarity with Overhead Persistent Infrared
• Experience in performance analysis, requirements verification, validation, and working with algorithms
