POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing the performance of our operations teams to share results in a usable, timely and accurate format; formulating and improving operating best practices; and leveraging this expertise across all Haynes locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This job description gives an overview of the overall essential functions, competencies, skills, and abilities for the Operations Analyst role. Other duties may be assigned.
JOB KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS
Business Intelligence Development/Report Automation in Sigma Computing Coordinate scoping sessions for new dashboard developments Develop dashboards and reports as requested in scoping sessions. Follow refinement/revision procedures as necessary Assist with the maintenance of data sources to ensure data accuracy and completeness Compile and analyze financial performance data for the operations team (agreements, projects, time, and material, estimate vs actual, forecasting, budgets, etc.) Compile and analyze operational data (technician utilization, callback/warranty work, etc.). Report key performance indicators (KPIs) to operational leaders; identify and validate new KPIs as the business evolves Conduct data analysis to establish performance baselines and develop/improve operational forecasting Maximize use of existing analytical tools and make recommendations regarding additional tools, as needed Participate in annual financial planning Track and forecast operational expenditures Maintain historical database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Management Science, or a related field; or 3+ years of equivalent work experience Demonstrated expertise in Business Intelligence Tools (Sigma, Tableau or PowerBI) Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel skills Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy of data Demonstrated strategic thinking Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills Sound judgment and problem-solving skills Strong customer service focus, both internal and external

Salary:
$80,000 - $100,000/year + Full benefits
