The Lean Sensei is responsible for guiding the organization through Lean transformation by focusing on strategy deployment, streamlining business processes, optimizing operations, and enhancing the culture of continuous improvement by empowering colleagues. Facilitate Strategy Deployment Process (Hoshin Strategy Deployment) Lead the regional strategic deployment process, ensuring clear alignment and accountability across the healthcare system Support executive leadership in defining 3-5 year Annual Improvement Priorities and developing the metrics required to achieve long term goals Collaborate with Cabinet and Executive Teams to advance regional, service line, and business line transformations. Help establish visible accountability mechanisms, including dashboards and data analytics. Prioritize and align improvement initiatives such as Value Stream Analysis, Kaizens, Rapid Improvement Events, System Projects, and A3s. Lead Improvement efforts rooted in Shingo Principles. Support the development and implementation of standard work for leaders. Act as a trusted, objective advisor to leaders, fostering strong decision-making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred Experience 6 to 8 years of continuous improvement work in areas that apply to departments or services of a health care environment. Experience leading lean transformation in a matrixed organization Knowledge, Skills And Ability Requirements Experience implementing the Shingo guiding principles (Lead with Humility, respect every individual, seek perfection, embrace scientific thinking, focus on process, Assure Quality at the Source, Improve Flow & Pull, Think Systematically, create constancy of Purpose and Create Value for the customer) Champion innovation and CI efforts to enhance performance and efficiency. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PPT, Word, Outlook, SharePoint) and Teams and Data Analytics programs. We take great care of careers.
