This position supports the Air Force Readiness Analysis and Decision Support (AFRADS) program by conducting readiness reporting, readiness assessments, readiness forecasting, force management analysis, and executive-level decision support. The successful candidate will support Air Force readiness reporting processes including the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Joint Force Readiness Review (JFRR), Strategic Readiness Assessment (SRA), AFFORGEN readiness assessments, and other readiness reporting requirements used by senior Air Force leadership. Candidates with Air Force readiness reporting experience supporting DRRS, JFRR, SRA, AFFORGEN, Air Staff, MAJCOM, Joint Staff, or OSD organizations are strongly encouraged to apply. This position is funded and ready for immediate placement (posted to Indeed 6/23/2026). Required Clearance Level Active Top Secret Clearance Required Education Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Data Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable analytical field. Required Qualifications Minimum three (3) years of combined experience in DoD readiness analysis and/or military service at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels. Experience supporting Air Force readiness reporting, readiness analysis, readiness assessments, force management, operational readiness, or related analytical activities. Experience supporting Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS or DRRS-S), Joint Force Readiness Review (JFRR), Strategic Readiness Assessment (SRA), AFFORGEN readiness assessments, or comparable Air Force readiness reporting processes. Knowledge and understanding of Air Force operations and readiness reporting processes. Experience extracting, manipulating, distilling, analyzing, and presenting data from multiple automated data sources. Ability to develop oral, written, and graphical depictions of data for senior-level decision quality products. Ability to apply analytic and evaluative skills to support major missions, operational plans, readiness assessments, and leadership decision-making. Expertise in oral and written English communications skills. Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office environment is essential (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint). Desired Qualifications Prior United States Air Force experience. Experience supporting Air Staff, MAJCOM, Joint Staff, Combatant Command, or OSD readiness organizations. Operations Research Analyst (ORSA) experience. Experience with AFFORGEN, Global Force Management (GFM), force presentation, force allocation, or force management processes. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar visualization tools. Experience with Python, R, SQL, or other data analytics tools. Experience with predictive analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, or readiness forecasting. Experience preparing executive-level briefings for General Officer, SES, or equivalent senior leadership audiences. Experience supporting Congressional, OSD, Joint Staff, or Headquarters Air Force readiness inquiries. Key Responsibilities Conduct Air Force readiness reporting analysis and readiness assessments. Support DRRS, JFRR, SRA, AFFORGEN, and other readiness reporting activities. Extract, manipulate, analyze, and visualize readiness data from multiple authoritative data sources. Develop readiness dashboards, visualizations, reports, briefings, and decision-support products. Support readiness forecasting and predictive readiness analysis. Provide senior leaders with decision-quality readiness information. Support Air Force, Joint Staff, OSD, and Congressional readiness inquiries. Develop oral, written, and graphical depictions of readiness-related data. Support Air Force readiness messaging, readiness assessments, and readiness reporting requirements. Perform all other analytic tasks in support of AF/A3TR and Air Force readiness activities as directed. Compensation & Benefits The Salary for the full time position is $135,000 to $149,000 based on experience and includes medical/dental/vision benefits, 10 days PTO and 7 days sick time; other benefits available.
