Operations Analyst Amwins Internships Miami, FL Job Details 18 hours ago Qualifications Data entry Insurance (Financial sectors) Excel data analysis Full Job Description The Insurance Operations Analyst supports Applied Risk Capital's (MGA, part of Amwins) underwriting operations, serving as the connection between underwriters, carrier partners, and brokers. You'll ensure policies are issued accurately, premiums are tracked precisely, and service standards remain best-in-class. This is an ideal role for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced specialty risk environment. In-office role based in Miami, FL. With a senior team recognized for its expertise in both leveraged credit and insurance, ARC is uniquely positioned to address the increasing demand for insurance related solutions that enhance lenders' competitive positioning, protect against credit loss and improve capital flexibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate with carriers and broker partners on policy issuance, endorsements, and ongoing servicing from bind through expiration Partner with underwriters to gather binding documentation, close transactions, and maintain continuous policy servicing Manage electronic file setup and maintenance within the policy management system; ensure all records are accurate and current Record initial and post-bind premium transactions; conduct periodic premium payment and internal record audits Input and monitor accounts receivable across the policy management system and supporting spreadsheets Required qualifications: 1-3 years of operations experience within an insurance company, MGU, MGA, or agency Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; equivalent professional experience considered Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data tracking) Hands-on experience with policy management system transaction entry Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage competing priorities Preferred qualifications: Familiarity with dashboard creation using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
