135000 Our client, a leading high-performance materials company that develops advanced adhesives and coatings for industries such as aerospace, transportation, defense, and industrial manufacturing, is looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team in Atlanta, GA!

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00
PM Position Summary:
We are seeking a driven Continuous Improvement Manager with a strong manufacturing background, preferably in a chemical or process-driven environment. This role is designed as a developmental pathway toward a Production Engineer or Plant Manager position. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives focused on operational excellence, production efficiency, and process optimization through the application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Total Process Improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and throughput Manage and execute Lean and Six Sigma projects, including Kaizen events and value stream mapping Analyze operational and production data to identify inefficiencies and determine root causes Develop and implement solutions to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality Partner cross-functionally with production, supply chain, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement Monitor performance metrics and ensure sustainable process improvements Support strategic planning efforts related to plant operations and efficiency
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field required with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (chemical manufacturing preferred) Lean and/or Six Sigma certification required Proven track record of driving operational excellence, cost reduction, and process improvement Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills Hands-on experience with Lean tools such as Kaizen, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
