We are actively hiring an Operational Language Analyst - Spanish, Level 2 to join our Defense and Homeland Security Division working in Augusta, GA. In this role, the Operational Language Analyst performs tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Translating and/or transcribing complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material Gisting complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material Scanning and sorting/categorizing foreign language materials Performing quality control review of translations and/or transcripts of complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken material.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph Associate of Arts (AA)/Associate of Science (AS) degree or equivalent Performance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and/or text translation from the required language into idiomatic, standard American English or 3 in listening and/or reading on the DLPT. Equivalent of four (4) years full-time experience performing language processing in the required language(s). In lieu of the Associate's Degree an additional two (2) years of directly related, applied, practical work experience may be substituted. For no more than one (1) year of the required four (4) years, Reporting shall be the primary duty. Two (2) of the four (4) years of experience shall be within four (4) years of resume submission for work on the Contract.
