Healthcare Technology Location:
Chicago, IL Overview We are partnering with a leading middle-market investment banking platform seeking to add an Associate to its Healthcare Technology team. This group advises innovative businesses across software, technology-enabled services, and healthcare-focused markets on a range of strategic and financing transactions. The position offers the opportunity to work directly with senior bankers, management teams, entrepreneurs, and financial sponsors while playing a key role in transaction execution and business development initiatives. Associates receive meaningful responsibility from day one and gain exposure to a variety of complex transactions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses. Support the execution of M&A and capital raising transactions. Prepare client presentations, marketing materials, and transaction documentation. Conduct industry, company, and market research. Analyze financial statements, operating metrics, and business performance. Coordinate due diligence processes and manage transaction workflows. Interact with corporate executives, investors, and other transaction participants. Mentor and oversee the work of Analysts and junior team members. Qualifications 3+ years of investment banking experience. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities. Experience supporting live M&A, capital raising, or other strategic transactions. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and project management abilities. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
