Job Description

Position Summary A leading investment bank is seeking an Associate to join its Tech Services investment banking team. The group advises clients across a diverse range of sectors, including technology services, commercial services, professional services, and financial services. The Associate will play a key role in transaction execution, financial analysis, and client engagement, working closely with senior bankers on a variety of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments. This role offers significant responsibility, direct exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity to work across a wide spectrum of service-oriented business models. Key Responsibilities Support execution and day-to-day management of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions Build and maintain detailed financial models, including valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, and trading comparables) and operating models Analyze company performance, industry trends, and competitive dynamics across multiple services sectors Prepare high-quality client materials, including pitch presentations, management presentations, and transaction marketing materials Conduct financial, operational, and commercial due diligence to assess opportunities and risks Coordinate with internal deal teams and external stakeholders, including clients, legal advisors, and investors Contribute to business development efforts through idea generation, industry research, and pitch preparation Develop and maintain relationships with clients through ongoing engagement and delivery of high-quality work Qualifications 3-5 years of prior investment banking experience Strong financial modeling and valuation experience, with the ability to independently build models Experience supporting or executing M&A and/or capital markets transactions Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce client-ready materials Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision High level of professionalism and comfort interacting with senior executives Bachelor's degree required
