Elite Boutique Investment Bank A leading global investment bank with a strong presence across the globe is seeking a high-performing Investment Banking Associate to join its Chicago-based Industrials M&A team . This team is experiencing significant growth and is particularly active in the Industrials sector. This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate with strong M&A execution experience to join a high-caliber platform known for its lean deal teams, direct client exposure, and high-impact mandates.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions , as well as other strategic advisory engagements. Conduct in-depth industry, company, and financial analysis to support deal execution and client pitches. Build and maintain complex financial models including DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, and merger models. Prepare and deliver client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials with a focus on quality and strategic insight. Collaborate with senior bankers and cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for clients. Participate in due diligence, valuation, and deal structuring processes. Contribute to business development efforts and ongoing client relationship management.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
3+ years of investment banking experience at a top-tier firm or an MBA with prior banking experience. Strong technical foundation in corporate finance, valuation, and M&A execution . Prior exposure to Industrials is highly preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. High level of maturity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Why This Opportunity?
