Middle Office Analyst- PnL & Valuation Location:

Salary:
$110k-$125k + bonus
Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established Trading Operations Middle Office team at a leading high-frequency trading firm, where you will support multiple trading desks and help enhance operational workflows. Partnering closely with traders and software engineers, you will be responsible for accurate P&L calculation, analysis, and reconciliation across middle and back office functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-frequency trading environment and strong communication skills, as the role involves regular interaction with cross-functional teams. In this role you will be responsible for: Take ownership of and develop deep expertise in processes and workflows that support core trading desk operations Perform daily P&L calculation and substantiation, ensuring alignment between desk-level reporting practices and firm-wide standards Build proficiency in proprietary and third-party systems related to trade capture, inventory management, and P&L reporting Recommend and support enhancements to technology, processes, and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce risk Develop a strong understanding of traders' risk management tools and provide ongoing support for their needs Partner with technical teams to ensure proper operational support and implement process improvements Collaborate with business liaison teams to ensure accurate onboarding of new desks, traders, and products The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills: 3+ years of experience in middle or back office, with strong knowledge of derivative valuation Ability to analyze and navigate P&L across multiple asset classes Familiarity with databases and working with API-driven data preferred Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent practical experience Demonstrated ability to independently solve problems efficiently Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency
