Full Job Description Position Summary:
Zentis is Europe's number one fruit processing company and one of the leading brand manufacturers of jams, sweets and custard-based dessert. The Company's North American operations are located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Plymouth, Indiana, where we produce fruit and dairy preparations for a variety of customers including yogurt, ice cream and bakery manufacturers. We are currently seeking a Quality & Operations Efficiency Analyst for our Plymouth, IN location. As a Quality & Operations Efficiency Analyst you will provide direct support to the operations group. Additionally professional and dedicated assistance on quality concerns by responding to inquiries, addressing non-conformances through conducting root cause analysis, creating written corrective and preventive action plans, and generating necessary corrective actions for the operations team. You will assist the Quality Manager and Plant Director with weekly reporting, site RFT, Root Cause trending and compile corporate reports on established frequency.Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure timely response to on all blocked material on all quality concerns through coordinating return of defective materials, leading incident investigations by root cause analysis, and creating corrective and preventive action plans. Provide written reports and summaries to the internal plant team. Responsbile for improving productivity levels of employees on continuous basis by bringing into use standards of performance derived from work measure studies, trending, learning of Zentis phase forward initiative, and general knowledge of operations. Help Operations team develop, train, and improve the overall production operation. This may include standards, visual aids, improvement boards, training, coaching, and leading workshops. All other duties as assigned by managementFormal Education Required:
Bachelor's degreeSpecific Experience and Key Knowledge Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of food processing and quality assurance experience. Knowledge of aseptic and conventional processes, HACCP, and GMP preferred. Knowledge of fruit preps, frozen desserts, food service, and bakery filling applications are a plus.Special Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively both internally and with customers and suppliers. Interpersonal skills to align efforts across departments to motivate and drive improvement. Proficiency in SAP, MS Excel and ability to learn Qualifax. EOE/M/F/H/VSimilar remote jobs
