Job Description

Program/Operations Analyst, Journeyman Job ID# 1719StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full Time Program/Operations Analyst, Journeyman in Patuxent River, MD, to join our NAVAIR Acquisition/Operations to provide direct support to a NAVAIR Unmanned Aerial Systems Program Management Office (PMA). The Program/Operations Analyst, Journeyman Provides comprehensive program, event, and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations within the PMA. This position coordinates communications, logistics, and task management in support of leadership and team initiatives. The Program Management Analyst, Journeyman will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following requirements:
Essential Job Duties:
  • Program & Event Coordination
  • Plan, organize, and support meetings, events, and working sessions (e.g., All Hands, PMRs, roll-ups, offsites, and working groups).
  • Manage logistics, scheduling, materials, and presentation support for in-person and virtual engagements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure effective execution of program milestones and deliverables.
  • Calendar & Communications
  • Maintain and coordinate the PMA-wide calendar of milestones, events, and deliverables.
  • Ensure schedule alignment across teams and leadership.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for internal communications, ensuring timely and accurate information flow.
  • Support information sharing and maintain organized communication channels across teams.
  • Training & Development Support
  • Assist in planning and executing internal training initiatives such as the semiannual "Pirate Academy."
  • Manage logistics, communications, and post-training follow-up in coordination with leadership.
  • Operations & Administrative Support
  • Perform core OPS functions including visit requests, document routing, BASICS entries, ETMS tasking and related tasks.
  • Provide front desk and in-person support.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding to ensure smooth personnel transitions.
  • Manage presentation decks, ensuring consistent formatting, distribution, and version control.
  • Assist leadership (PM, DPM, OPSO) with task tracking and completion.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support PMA-266 operations and mission needs.

Experience Requirements:
  • 3 to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
Education Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree
  • Associate degree plus Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
  • OR Six (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
Security Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000-$112,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates level of knowledge, education, experience and skill sets.
