Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Collections Officer / Loan Operations Officer to join our financial services team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the collection of overdue accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate loan and account records. Your expertise will help optimize the revenue cycle management process, improve customer relationships, and uphold the integrity of our financial operations. Duties Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reviews the delinquent loans status for the financial institution.
- Contacts delinquent account holders through telephone calls, letters and personal visits.
- Prepares reports on the kind and status of delinquent account and collection activities undertaken by the financial institution and rates the accounts according to the financial institution's procedures.
- Directs foreclosure or repossession of delinquent accounts determined to be irresolvable ensuring all proper documentation is accounted for and all data is properly entered.
- Works with other departments within the financial institution regarding litigation and foreclosure activities.
- Oversee foreclosed properties for proper management and regular inspections as well as securing the property and advertising the property for sales.
- Works with Loan Officers on queries and activities to improve overall services to financial institution's customers.
- Works with loan servicing and staff, including updating loan data into the financial institution's computers.
- Answers telephone and written inquiries concerning loans, escrow for real estate taxes and provides other account information.
- Prepare reports for committees and board meetings.
- Assist with loan operations and documentation as needed.
- Prepare various reports monthly, quarterly, annually and as needed for the loan department.
- Performs other duties as assigned and directed by management.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations and interpret complex financial scenariosComputer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel and internet software .Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).Specialized Training:
Completion of in-house training and group learning plan courses at the financial institutionKnowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:
Good oral, written and human relations skills. Good attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and deal tactfully with customersPhysical Demands:

Compensation is based on experience and ranges from $40,000 to $50,000.Pay:
