Job Description:
The Business Process Owner (BPO) is responsible for managing and continuously improving one or more end-to-end business processes within an organization. Acting as the central point of accountability, the BPO ensures that the process aligns with business goals, delivers value, and meets performance expectations.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Define and document the process strategy, scope, and objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align process improvements with business needs. Monitor process performance using KPIs and analytics to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or compliance risks. Lead or support process redesign initiatives, ensuring consistency, quality, and scalability. Own the governance of the process, including change management, documentation, and training. Serve as the subject matter expert for the assigned process, providing guidance and resolving escalations. Partner with IT, operations, and other departments to implement systems or tools supporting the process.Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, MIS, or related. 5 years of HVAC manufacturing operations experience. Lean Six Sigma or related process certification preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong understanding of business operations and process design. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities. Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Familiarity with relevant tools such as BPM software, ERP systems, or workflow platformsWork Environment:
Often work will be performed in a climate-controlled office setting. Occasionally, employee will work in a manufacturing facility and be exposed to: Humidity, loud noises, dirt Varying temperatures Sheet Metal Forklift trafficPhysical Demands:
Lift up to 10 lbs. Ability to think, problem solve and communicate effectively. Must be able to view computer monitors and manufacturing processes and hear forklift and other horns and alarms. Sitting for prolonged periodsDisclaimer:
