Day:
We are seeking a hands-on FP&A contractor with strong pharmaceutical and/or generic industry finance experience to support the a pharmaceutical's Finance organization across forecasting, reporting, Gross-to-Net (GTN), and commercial finance activities. This role is designed for someone who can operate effectively in a lean, fast-paced environment and support both strategic FP&A initiatives and day-to-day operational finance needs. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling and analytical skills, along with practical exposure to GTN concepts such as chargebacks, rebates, accruals, deductions, and net sales forecasting. The contractor will partner closely with FP&A, Accounting, Pricing, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to support forecasting accuracy, reporting enhancements, GTN analysis, and financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating across both strategic FP&A support and hands-on operational finance activities depending on business needs. Primary Duties & Responsibilities- FP&A Support & Forecasting
- Support monthly forecasting, Latest Estimates (LE), annual budgeting, and Long-Range Planning (LRP) processes
- Prepare and maintain financial models, management reporting, and variance analysis
- Analyze sales, gross margin, OPEX, and key business drivers
- Assist with scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to support business decisions
- Support monthly close activities from an FP&A perspective, including commentary and variance explanations Gross-to-Net (GTN) Support
- Support GTN forecasting and analysis, including Chargebacks, Rebates, Administrative fees, Returns and deductions Assist in reviewing GTN accruals and analyzing actual versus forecast variances; Work closely with Pricing and Commercial teams to understand pricing changes, contract structures, and impacts to net sales Support reporting and analysis around GTN trends and key business drivers Reporting & Analytics•Prepare recurring management reporting packages and KPI dashboards•Support Power BI / Excel-based reporting enhancements and automation initiatives•Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities•Assist in improving reporting consistency and financial visibility across the organization •This position is hybrid, 3 days onsite per week in Florham Park, NJ.
