PROJECT:
We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Operations Analyst intern to support 5S and inspection readiness activities within our Drug Substance Facility. This role offers hands-on experience to GMP manufacturing, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance in a biotech environment. The intern will partner closely with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to help ensure workspaces, documentation, and visual management tools meet inspection-ready standards.
Required Skills:
Strong organizational and attention to detail skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Comfortable working in a regulated environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with 5S, Lean, or Six Sigma concepts Interest in manufacturing, operations excellence, or quality Strong communication and documentation skills
Qualifications/Eligibility:
Student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in: Engineering (Chemical, Bioengineering, Industrial), Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Operations, or related field Work performed in an active manufacturing environment Will require gowning and adherence to GMP Procedures Standing and walking in manufacturing areas required Must be available to work full time, 40 hours a week. Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. based university or college and enrolled in the fall term after the completion of the internship OR have graduated within 1 year of the start of the program. Must be able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship for on-site, hybrid roles.
