Contract to Hire About the role We are looking for a Senior Business Process Designer to help us with AI-First business process redesigns for clients in several industries. You will study existing processes and then work with client teams to re-imagine the work for the Age of AI, focusing on how and where to deploy AI agents and other forms of machine intelligence to create significant economic value for the client. This is a hands-on role. You will draw the maps, run the analyses, and write the recommendations yourself. You will also be expected to think about how AI agents and intelligent automation fit into the processes you design — not as a separate track, but as part of the standard toolkit. What you will do Collect information on current-state processes using interviews, observation, task-mining, and other data collection techniques. Identify root causes of cost, delay, error, and rework. Evaluate where AI agents, machine learning, or other automation belong in a process, and where they do not. Work with our experts to design future-state processes that leverage AI to improve economic performance by eliminating or reducing all work that does not create value. Build the business case for each redesign, with measurable targets. Run pilots, measure results, and adjust the design before scaling. Partner with client-based operations, technology, and change management teams to roll out new processes. Required qualifications Five or more years of business process redesign, reengineering, or process improvement experience. Strong process modeling skills, including BPMN, state diagrams, or value stream mapping. Track record of measurable results you can describe in numbers: cycle time reduced, cost saved, error rate cut, throughput increased. Cross-functional project experience. You have led redesigns that crossed department boundaries. Preferred qualifications Experience designing processes that include AI agents, large language models, or other machine intelligence. Hands-on work with intelligent automation platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate). Experience with process mining tools such as Celonis. Consulting background at a large firm, or in-house redesign / transformation experience at a large operations-heavy company. Contract Rate Negotiable, based on experience.
