The Process & Continuous Improvement Lead plays a critical role in driving operational performance across manufacturing and warehouse operations. This is a hands‑on, floor‑focused leadership role responsible for improving efficiency, quality, safety, and delivery performance through structured continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with Production Supervisors and Operations leadership, this role leads root cause analysis, drives adoption of standard work, and ensures process improvements translate into sustainable results on the production floor. This position is ideal for an experienced manufacturing professional with strong operational credibility, Lean Six Sigma training, and the leadership skills required to influence behaviour and drive change across teams.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, rework, production delays, warranty claims, and operational inefficiencies. Conduct root cause analysis related to quality issues, delivery performance, labour utilization, and safety incidents. Partner directly with Production Supervisors and Operations leadership to improve throughput, labour efficiency, and standardization. Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and improvement workshops across manufacturing and warehouse operations. Implement and sustain standard work, visual management, 5S, mistake‑proofing principles, and process controls. Support development and maintenance of PFMEAs, control plans, SPC monitoring, and CAPA actions. Ensure process changes are properly implemented, documented, trained, and adopted on the production floor. Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to ensure improvements are both effective and sustainable. Drive adoption of process changes through training, coaching, and active presence on the production floor. Lead and influence cross‑functional teams by driving adoption of process changes through strong shop‑floor credibility, clear communication, and disciplined problem‑solving. Track and report improvement outcomes tied to KPIs such as scrap reduction, rework, labour efficiency, on‑time delivery, safety performance, and warranty trends. Provide data‑driven insights and recommendations to Operations leadership. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned based on operational priorities and business needs.QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Experience, Knowledge Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Technology, Business, Quality, or a related field, or equivalent relevant manufacturing experience. Minimum 5-8 years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing, operations, quality, or continuous improvement roles. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead improvement initiatives on the production floor and drive measurable results. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, labor efficiency, quality systems, and operational KPIs. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Lean, Six Sigma, or quality/safety‑related certifications are a plus.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role requires a near‑balanced presence between office and production environments, with substantial time spent on the manufacturing floor. Regular walking, standing, and interaction with production and warehouse environments. Ability to review operational data, reports, and documentation.CORE SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
Leadership & Soft Skills Proven ability to influence and lead without direct authority. Strong communication skills with operators, supervisors, and leadership. High credibility on the shop floor with a pragmatic, solution‑oriented mindset. Communication & Influence Ability to clearly communicate with operators, supervisors, and leadership across the organization. Ability to translate operational issues and improvement initiatives into clear recommendations and action plans. Systems & Analytical Tools Comfortable working with ERP systems, production data, and reporting tools to analyse performance and support decision‑making. Strong working knowledge of standard business software (Excel, reporting tools, presentations). Quantitative & Problem‑Solving Skills Ability to analyse operational data, including trends related to scrap, rework, throughput, labour efficiency, and delivery performance. Ability to apply structured problem‑solving methodologies to define root causes and drive sustainable improvements.WORK ENVIRONMENT
Professional office environment with moderate noise levels. Periodic exposure to manufacturing or warehouse environments.TRAVEL & WORK HOURS
