Position Summary :
The Continuous Improvement Leader is a results-oriented role responsible for leading the identification and implementation of process enhancements across the organization. A critical role in evaluating, designing, and implementing business processes to boost efficiency, quality, reduce waste, and elevate the client experience using lean methodologies. The role requires data analysis, process mapping, problem solving, project management and the ability to foster a culture of ongoing continuous improvement. The role requires serving as a key change agent who collaborates with cross-functional teams to facilitate Kaizens, solve problems, provide value-added recommendations, and establish sustainable standards.Key Responsibilities:
Data-driven problem solving : Analyzes current operating procedures and production data to identify bottlenecks and areas of optimization. This responsibility includes existing workflows across departments (legal, intake, operations, client services) & mapping undocumented processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Facilitation of collaborative events : Facilitate Kaizens, process mapping sessions, and stakeholder interviews to gather insights that will support ideas to improve current-state business processes. The impact must be measurable and meet key performance indicators. Process designing : Develop process maps, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Leverage data analysis and metrics to measure process performance and outcomes. Collaborate with technology teams to recommend or implement automation and system improvements. Design and implement optimized processes that balance efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction. Training & coaching : Mentor employees at all levels, fostering a proactive mindset and ensuring team members are proficient in CI tools and standard operating procedures. Lead training and change management efforts to ensure team adoption of new processes.Sustainability:
Conduct regular audits on implemented solutions, monitor performance KIP's and trends to assure changes are sustainable and to identify additional continuous improvement opportunities.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Lean six sigma certification or two plus years' experience in using lean methodologies. 2+ years of experience in process analysis, business analysis, or operations. improvement (law firm or professional services experience a plus). Strong analytical skills with ability to gather, interpret, and present data. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.) andMicrosoft Office Suite Physical Requirements :
Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions. Stationary Position- Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time. Move or Traverse
