Assistant Operations Analyst - Intern

Primoris T&D provides construction, maintenance, and engineering of electric Transmission, Distribution, and Substation infrastructure. Ancillary services include wireless telecommunication installation, environmental cleanup, project management, and storm restoration services. Position Summary This internship provides hands-on experience in data analysis, process improvement, reporting, and operational coordination. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced professional environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting operational data to support business decisions. Prepare reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, and presentations for management review. Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity. Track project progress, action items, and operational performance metrics. Help maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support operational activities and special projects. Conduct research and compile findings related to operational trends, systems, or workflows. Participate in meetings and provide administrative and analytical support as needed. Identify opportunities for improving reporting accuracy and operational processes. Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Learning Opportunities Exposure to real-world business operations and analytics.
