$21.29/hour + DOE (Depending on Experience) Position Overview We are seeking a highly alert and detail-oriented Emergency Security Operations Center (ESOC) Officer to join our team in Houston, TX. This role is critical to maintaining situational awareness and responding to security-related incidents in a fast-paced operations environment. The ideal candidate thrives in high-pressure settings and can effectively manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarm systems, to detect and respond to suspicious activity or incidents. Receive, assess, and prioritize incoming calls, alarms, and radio communications. Dispatch appropriate personnel and coordinate response efforts during emergencies. Document incidents accurately and in real-time using designated systems and reporting tools. Maintain constant communication with on-site teams, management, and external emergency responders. Analyze situations quickly and make informed decisions under pressure. Ensure all security protocols and procedures are followed consistently. Perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Security Operations Center (SOC) experience . Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems and software. Experience monitoring security cameras and surveillance systems. Ability to effectively communicate via phone and radio while documenting information. Demonstrated ability to multitask in a high-expectation, fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High level of professionalism, reliability, and accountability. Preferred Skills Experience in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) or ESOC environment . Working knowledge of incident management systems and reporting tools. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations. Physical & Work Environment Extended periods of sitting and monitoring screens. Ability to stay focused and alert throughout the shift. Must be able to work assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays if required. Why Join Us?
