Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing hedge fund and play a meaningful role in its continued development. Reporting directly to the COO/CFO, this role provides broad exposure to the full spectrum of firm operations, including finance, accounting, operations and compliance. The Operations Analyst will support day-to-day business functions while partnering closely with senior leadership to ensure operational accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. With the firm continuing to expand, this position offers significant opportunity for growth, increasing responsibility, and hands-on involvement in shaping operational processes within a lean, fast-paced environment. In this role you will be responsible for: Trade booking, settlement, and daily portfolio and cash reconciliations Counterparty onboarding, collateral management, and oversight of securities lending relationships Preparation, reconciliation, and review of daily investment reports, risk metrics, and regulatory filings Month-end pricing compilation and review, including reconciliation of monthly NAV packages from external administrators Calculation and reconciliation of investor- and fund-level returns Assistance with fund financial statements, tax return preparation, and coordination with external service providers Support for quarterly and annual due diligence requests (RFIs) and investor-related reporting Identification, analysis, and automation of operational workflows to improve efficiency and scalability The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline 2+ years of experience in public accounting, hedge funds, or fund administration preferred Excellent analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, take-ownership attitude
