Continuous Improvement Manager

Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking a Manager of Continuous Improvement to lead and sustain site‑level Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives across their Longview manufacturing campus. This leader will serve as the on‑site CI owner, partnering closely with plant leadership and frontline teams to drive waste reduction, process stability, quality improvement, and a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on CI practitioner who thrives on the production floor, influences without authority, and delivers measurable operational impact. • 5-8 years in manufacturing or operations (some flexibility here)
• 3-5 years leading or supporting Continuous Improvement / Lean initiatives
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (transferrable to HVAC preferred) ie. automotive, automobile
• Proven experience facilitating Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and Lean activities
• Hands‑on Lean Manufacturing background (VSM, Standard Work, 5S, RCA, PDCA, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to drive waste reduction, process stability, and throughput improvements
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and support decision‑making
• Experience influencing teams without direct authority
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or related field (flexible — tuition reimbursement available)
• Experience in HVAC manufacturing industries
• Green Belt, Black Belt, or Six Sigma certifications
• Experience supporting multi‑site CI initiatives
• Working knowledge of financial concepts and cost drivers (P&L exposure helpful)
• Additional Lean trainings or certifications
