Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE
This position is responsible for supervising the operations of the real estate department, loan funding department and loan servicing department with a focus on organization, efficiency, and growth accommodation. This employee offers the customer the highest degree of service and promotes all Alliance Bank's products and services.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 1.
Ability to read, write and speak the English language, bilingual helpful. 2. Ability to respond to customer requests with tact, diplomacy, and a sense of urgency. 3. Ability to offer Alliance Bank's products and services. 4. High School diploma (or equivalency) and minimum of 7 years or more experience in progressive management positions at financial institutions. 5. Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and have the ability to deal with and respond to employees, customers, third-party vendors, and salespersons with tact, diplomacy, and a sense of urgency. 6. Ability to prioritize own tasks and responsibilities to ensure that excellent service to our customers is accomplished before most administrative functions are processed. 7. Previous experience in the lending operations. 8. Previous supervisory or management experience. 9. Ability to work accurately under deadline situations and to adapt to a fast-paced environment. 10. Ability to present a professional demeanor at all times. 11. Ability to handle stressful situations throughout the organization. 12. Ability to operate basic office equipment including a PC with job-related software. 13. Ability to handle bank and customer transactions with a high level of confidentiality. 14. Knowledge of state and federal regulations. 15. Knowledge of Alliance Bank's loan policies and procedures. 16. Knowledge of Alliance Bank's products and services. 17. Schedules are prepared based on business needs and are subject to change at any time. This may include the need for evenings, weekends, or holiday coverage. 18. Office setting with moderately varied desk-oriented activity. 19. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, and kneel. 20. Repetitive movement of finger, wrist, and hand. 21. Promotes Alliance Bank's culture through all interactions modeling the Alliance Bank way of Customer Experience. 5.Supervise employees to ensure the highest quality of performance.In addition:
a. Assign work and/or revise duties. b. Monitor, review, and approve timecards for areas of responsibility. c. Participate in the hiring, evaluation, and termination process. d. Act on employee problems. e. Maintain knowledge of Alliance Bank personnel policies and procedures. 6. Oversee general loan operations including but not limited to: a. Monitor new loan fundings and postings b. Monitor loan maintenance, payment postings, payoffs, and other servicing items for all loan types. c. Oversee all real estate department operations including in-house and secondary market. d. Research problems and assist staff with potential solutions. e. Approve invoices for payment. 7. Prepare various quarterly reports and memos for the Board of Directors and/or Accounting. 8. Serve as backup for all areas of the department as needed, including the Secondary Market. 9. Provide training to lending staff, as necessary. 10. Actively cross-train loan operations staff to increase efficiency. 11. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and remediate audit findings. 12. Attend daily bank loan committee meetings and past-due meetings. 13. Employee may be issued bank-owned devices (such as cell phones, tablets, and/or laptops). In such cases, the employee is expected to regularly check and respond to phone calls, text messages, and/or emails. 14. Participate in community affairs to increase Alliance Bank's visibility and to enhance new business opportunities. 15. Keep updated on all Alliance Bank policies and procedures pertaining to this position. 16. Exemplary attendance and punctuality.Job Type:
