Operations Analyst Position Overview The Operations Analyst will play a key role in supporting business operations through data analysis, procurement reporting, process optimization, and strategic decision support. This position is ideal for an analytical professional with 1-2 years of experience who enjoys working with data, identifying trends, and delivering insights that drive operational efficiency and business performance. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze operational and financial data, support procurement initiatives, track vendor performance, and develop reporting that enables informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities Analyze operational, procurement, and financial data to identify trends, risks, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking for leadership and business stakeholders. Support procurement activities by analyzing vendor spend, contract utilization, supplier performance, and purchasing trends. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning efforts. Conduct data validation and ensure the accuracy and integrity of operational reporting. Create presentations and executive summaries that translate complex data into actionable insights. Partner with Finance, Operations, Procurement, and other business teams to support strategic initiatives and decision-making. Identify opportunities to automate reporting and streamline operational processes. Support vendor management and contract administration through data analysis and performance tracking. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in operations, procurement, business analytics, financial analysis, consulting, or a related analytical role. Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, and data modeling. Experience working with large datasets and translating findings into business recommendations. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with procurement analytics, spend analysis, sourcing, or vendor management. Proficiency with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Experience with ERP, procurement, or financial systems. Familiarity with SQL or other data analysis tools is a plus.
