Job Description Job Description What You Will Be Doing:

Collaborating with Social Scientists to translate conceptual and theoretical models into mathematically sound, testable analytic frameworks. Partnering with Software Developers to ensure accurate implementation, validation, and performance optimization of analytic models. Designing and applying operations research methods including optimization, stochastic modeling, simulation, network analysis, and decision analysis. Validating and verifying models to ensure statistical soundness, reproducibility, and empirical alignment with mission datasets. Developing and maintaining data pipelines supporting graph-based, spatiotemporal, and social network analytic models. Curating, normalizing, and managing structured and unstructured datasets used in analytic model development. Implementing and evaluating models such as anomaly detection, co-traveler analytics, and graph-theoretic approaches derived from social network analysis literature. Conducting sensitivity analyses, error analysis, and uncertainty quantification to assess model robustness. Establishing data quality standards, validation procedures, and governance practices to ensure data integrity and traceability.
