Clarificion from the agency Internal Permanent Air Force Employees in the Cyber Space & Informion Career Field Only Duties Help DUTY 1: Performs Career Broadener assignments involves a broad range of functional research assignments entailing unique problems, creivity, innovive use of techniques, advanced approaches, and/or new technologies supporting the ACC Enterprise Da Office (EDO). Performs studies of issues arising in varied subjects of advanced difficulty and complexity. Establishes assumptions, measures effectiveness of approaches, and evalues available alternives. Analyzes the feasibility of advanced analytical approaches or radically different proposed policies. Evalues impacts of new technologies on current systems and policies. Conclusions and recommendions have a major impact on top-level management plans and decisions regarding requirements definition, planning, and acquisition of major upgrades and new system capabilities. DUTY 2: In a Career Broadening capacity; serves as an expert on cross-functional modeling and simulion techniques for ACC. Utilizes scientific inquiry in the independent development of mhemical models and computer programs to evalue and predict the ability to support assigned projects, studies, or problems. Develops models to test, analyze, and evalue algorithms and other logic across multi-functional challenges. Utilizes mhemical and stistical techniques, elements of operions research theory, engineering principles and innovive efforts to develop new solutions to previously highlighted and/or new problems or problems which may be totally lacking in precedent. DUTY 3: As a Career Broadener, provides cross-functional technical guidance, advisory support and assistance on an entire project and/or major phases for broad and varied operions. Leads a team in performing very complex, difficult studies/evaluions. Responsible for completing phases of an overall work effort th could include cross functional disciplines, joint services, and allied partners. Provides guidance, assistance and support to lower level analysts. Serves as the ACC lead authority to other organizions, joint agencies, SAF, HAF and supports the SAF CDO as the ACC lead for all da analytics and modeling activities. DUTY 4: Attends meetings, conferences, briefings and seminars reled to program planning, advanced technologies, and support system concepts. Serves as the ACC lead on SAF and HAF working groups and technical exchanges. Represents ACC all Joint Staff da working groups and represents ACC da summits and conferences. Participes with ACC decision-making authority on working groups and teams with headquarters and other technical/analytical agencies on advances in ste-of-the-art technology. Represents ACC during s with government and industry representives. Evalues industry best practices for inclusion in ACC efforts DUTY 5: Accomplishes professional development and maintains technical proficiency through professional interaction with technical and professional societies, associions, academia, symposia, contractors, research and development (R&D) organizions, and participion in formal training programs. TEMPORARY PROMOTION

BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT
Degree:
in operions research; or least 24 semester hours in a combinion of operions research, mhemics, probability, stistics, mhemical logic, science, or subject-mter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mhemics or stistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualificion requirements listed below:

This position must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance. This is a designed drug-testing position, incumbent subject to random testing for drug use. Mobility is a condition of employment, employee must sign an Air Force-wide mobility agreement. The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments. Must have a bachelor's degree in a reled discipline such as computer or electronics engineering, computer science, or mhemics. A master's degree in a technical reled field is highly desired.
