Company Overview Obra Institutional Credit (OIC), a subsidiary of Obra Capital Inc., is a leading independent asset management and investment research firm, specializing in high-yield bonds and leveraged loans with a strong focus on rigorous, bottom-up credit analysis. OIC s clients include industry-leading wealth managers, large public pension funds, and other leveraged finance investors. Position Overview OIC is seeking a Credit Operations Analyst to join our Montpelier, VT office. Reporting to the Head of Operations for Obra Capital, this role will support our investment research business by maintaining our credit research platform, managing subscription access, and ensuring seamless operations. The Credit Operations Analyst will also provide administrative support to the Montpelier office, assisting with office management tasks and general operational needs. This position will be full-time in our Montpelier, VT office. Responsibilities Run Daily Performance calculations and distribute to Analysts and Portfolio Managers. Bond and Loan trade allocations, trade affirmations, settlement of bond and loan trades, loan communications in ClearPar, distribution of Funding Memos to relevant parties Assist with CLO trade settlement activities Maintain SMA client s portfolio activity including booking relevant transactions in internal systems Distributing monthly statements. Processing relevant Corporate Actions and informing Portfolio Managers/Analysts involved. Assistance with monthly cash and asset reconciliation. Completing Monthly Best Executions. Assist with new SMA client onboarding and closing of accounts Maintain office supply inventory, handle incoming mail, and direct incoming calls, visits and inquiries. Support various administrative and ad hoc tasks as assigned. Qualifications 0-2 years of relevant experience in financial operations, investment research, or a related field. Bachelor s degree with a strong academic record and a proficiency in math. Understanding of financial markets, credit instruments, and basic accounting principles. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. In accordance with pay transparency laws the expected salary for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 per year. Salary is based on years of experience and other qualifications.
