Job Description

Lindquist Machine Co. is hiring a Continuous Improvement Leader to build, lead, and sustain a company-wide Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (CI) program. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on improving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) in a custom metals manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Lead Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives Build and manage a CI roadmap, project pipeline, and governance Facilitate Kaizen events and drive waste reduction Improve material flow, plant layout, and production efficiency Implement and sustain 6S (5S + Safety) Improve shop floor and office workflows using process mapping Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain Track KPIs including lead time, OTD, scrap, rework, labor efficiency, and WIP What You Need Experience leading Continuous Improvement or Lean programs Manufacturing background (machining, fabrication, welding, or assembly) Strong Lean, Kaizen, and process improvement knowledge Experience with value stream mapping and material flow Ability to coach teams and sustain 5S/6S programs What We Prefer Engineering degree or equivalent experience High-mix, low-volume or job shop experience ERP/MRP systems (Epicor preferred) Data analysis (time studies, capacity, flow) Why This Role Build a CI program from the ground up High visibility and influence Direct impact on operations and growth Work in complex, custom manufacturing
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
