Full-Time, Exempt The Assistant Field Operations Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for supporting the management of window and door installation projects from inception to completion. This role bridges the gap between field execution and office administration, ensuring that all crews meet safety, quality, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels. Core Responsibilities Operations & Scheduling Management Assist in managing the daily schedules for installation teams and subcontractors to ensure jobs are scheduled within 48 hours of availability. Oversee the timely completion of "Details" (measures), ensuring window details are completed within the same week they are assigned. Monitor field performance to ensure assigned areas meet SLA agreement times in every phase of the project. Support the "Champion LTR" initiative to drive customer loyalty and positive feedback. Quality Control & Technical Oversight Conduct site inspections to assess installation quality and verify that windows and doors are installed according to company specifications and local building codes. Troubleshoot complex technical issues, such as identifying if a door requires a full-sized unit versus a retro unit or specifying necessary materials like primed casing and PVC for custom work. Ensure proper sealing, insulation, and wrapping techniques (using brakes and coil) are utilized by all teams. Team Leadership & Safety Ensure installers maintain clean, professional, and safe work environments at all job sites. Enforce adherence to company safety policies and procedures, including the safe operation of company vehicles and equipment. Mentor Field Technicians and Installers on best practices for installation and customer communication. Customer & Escalation Support Serve as a primary point of contact for high-level escalations, including Executive Customer Relations (ECR) cases. Address customer concerns regarding schedule delays, material reorders, or installation issues with professionalism and urgency. Coordinate with retail partners (e.g., Lowe's Field Provider Managers) to resolve job discrepancies and confirm delivery/install dates.

Qualifications Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years in window and door installation or residential construction management.

Technical Proficiency:

Expert knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and the ability to read blueprints.

Leadership:

Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written skills for interacting with customers, crews, and corporate partners.

Licensing:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Lead paint certification is highly recommended. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and kneel for extended periods. Resilience to work in various outdoor weather conditions. Pay:

$40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
