Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Operations Manager to lead and oversee daily business operations across our retail locations. This pivotal role involves managing teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring exceptional customer service to drive store performance and growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for retail management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As an Operations Manager, you will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment while maintaining operational excellence. Duties Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service. Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities and maintain accurate stock levels. Manage daily store operations including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting. Implement effective sales strategies, monitor sales performance, and motivate teams to meet or exceed targets. Coordinate purchasing activities, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns to enhance store profitability. Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and standard operating procedures. Foster positive customer relationships through excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, and personalized service. Supervise shift management duties such as cashiering, customer service support, and inventory control to ensure smooth store functioning. Conduct employee orientation sessions, onboarding programs, and ongoing training & development initiatives to build a skilled team. Utilize management skills to oversee marketing efforts, wireless sales initiatives (if applicable), and overall store presentation. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with assistant manager or higher roles preferred. Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated team management skills and supervising experience. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer engagement. Proficiency in negotiation, purchasing, inventory management, POS systems, and retail math. Knowledge of payroll processing, bookkeeping practices, cash handling procedures, and budgeting techniques. Experience in recruiting, interviewing candidates, employee orientation, training & development programs. Familiarity with retail sales strategies including merchandising, pricing tactics, marketing initiatives & stock management. Ability to multitask efficiently with excellent organizational skills and time management capabilities. Technical skills related to wireless sales (if applicable), store management software, and administrative tasks.
