Key Responsibilities for this role include: Oversee the financial and operational performance of the Service Division, including full P&L ownership, budgeting, and revenue growth. Lead the development and execution of department goals through data-driven decision-making and KPI management. Drive accountability and performance across all teams through effective leadership, communication, and cross-department collaboration. Recruit, train, and develop managers and team members, fostering a culture of growth, excellence, and customer focus. Improve company systems, processes, and policies to support company goals, including better reporting and communication. Strengthen support roles to improve how they operate and coordinate with other departments. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to coach managers and ensure alignment with company objectives. Supervise daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Champion a customer-centric approach and oversee escalated service issues to ensure positive outcomes and cost control. Manage departmental budgets, material costs, and vendor relationships to maintain pricing integrity and operational efficiency. Ensure all HVAC installations, repairs, and maintenance meet or exceed local, state, and federal codes, manufacturer specifications, and industry best practices. Uphold compliance with OSHA safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company safety procedures. Facilitate weekly meetings and participate in key training sessions, huddles, and company initiatives to promote continuous improvement and alignment. Relocation Assistance Offered The ideal candidate will have the following: 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in service operations, preferably within HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related trades. Proven experience managing P&L, budgets, and department-level financial performance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn operational and financial data into actionable decisions. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, installation standards, and compliance requirements with local, state, and federal codes. Demonstrated success in developing and leading high-performing teams with a focus on accountability, coaching, and results. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to build trust across departments and with external partners. Skilled in vendor management, cost control, and maintaining margin integrity. Proficiency in field service management software (preferably ServiceTitan) and Microsoft Office 365 applications. Strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and quality workmanship. Strategic thinker with the ability to balance day-to-day operational oversight and long-term business objectives.
