Job Description
Job Overview Vibhuti Inc. is seeking a reliable and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily terminal operations for a busy FedEx Ground contractor team. The Operations Manager will be responsible for supervising drivers, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining service performance, and supporting efficient package delivery operations. This role requires strong leadership, logistics knowledge, and the ability to manage a fast-paced delivery environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily pickup and delivery operations to ensure routes run efficiently and on schedule Supervise and support delivery drivers and dispatch staff Monitor safety compliance and enforce company and FedEx Ground policies Assist with driver training, onboarding, and performance management Track key performance metrics such as service levels, route completion, and safety records Coordinate with terminal management and internal teams to resolve operational issues Manage scheduling, staffing needs, and coverage for routes Conduct ride-alongs and driver evaluations when needed Ensure vehicles and equipment meet operational and safety standards Qualifications Previous management or supervisory experience in logistics, transportation, or delivery operationsExperience working with delivery drivers or route management preferred Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards is a plus Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work early mornings and weekends as needed Proficient with logistics software, dispatch tools, or transportation management systems Preferred Experience Experience working with a FedEx Ground contractor Experience managing P&D (Pickup & Delivery) operations Fleet management or safety compliance experience Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance incentives Paid training Opportunities for growth within the company Medical insurance and 401(k)
