Job Description
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations. This leader ensures productivity, safety, accuracy, and service-level expectations are consistently achieved. The role includes supervision of warehouse associates, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a positive, high-performance work environment. We have 1st Shift and 2nd Shift Supervisors roles open. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership + Oversee all warehouse functions, including receiving, picking, packing, replenishment, shipping, and inventory control. + Assign labor and manage workflow to meet daily production goals. + Monitor performance metrics and take corrective actions when needed. Team Supervision & Development + Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates. + Conduct shift huddles, assign daily tasks, and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). + Manage attendance, performance feedback, coaching, and corrective action processes. Safety & Compliance + Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety programs. + Conduct regular safety audits, ensure proper equipment use, and promote a strong safety culture. + Ensure compliance with company policies, quality expectations, and operational standards. Process Improvement + Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency. + Support implementation of operational strategies and continuous improvement initiatives. + Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and participate in cycle counts. Communication & Reporting + Maintain clear communication across shifts, departments, and leadership teams. + Prepare and deliver shift reports, performance updates, and escalate issues as needed. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Maintenance, and Training. Qualifications Required + 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment. + Strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety standards, and compliance requirements. + Proficiency with WMS systems and basic computer applications (Word, Excel, email). + Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Preferred + Experience in high-volume distribution or e-commerce fulfillment. + Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Physical Requirements + Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Work in varying warehouse conditions (temperature, noise levels, etc.). Hire Opportunity Pay Details:
