Responsibilities:
Oversee heavy civil underground and sitework operations across the Arizona market Lead project teams including project managers, superintendents, and field operations personnel Support business development efforts and maintain strong relationships with owners, municipalities, developers, and clients Manage operational performance including scheduling, budgeting, manpower planning, and forecasting Provide mentorship and leadership development to operations teams Ensure safety, quality, and production standards are maintained across projects Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives throughout the region
Preferred Background:
10+ years of heavy civil construction experience in wet underground utilities, commercial sitework, and/or concrete structures Experience overseeing multiple large-scale civil construction projects simultaneously Proven leadership experience managing operations teams, PMs, and superintendents Strong client-facing and relationship management abilities Experience with self-perform heavy civil operations preferred A bit about us:•We are a heavy civil contractor seeking an Area Manager to help lead and grow underground utility and commercial sitework operations throughout Arizona. This leadership role will oversee large-scale civil underground infrastructure projects, including wet utilities, commercial site development, earthwork, concrete structures, and related heavy civil scopes.
