Job Description
Job Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and holding the operations team accountable for all Jet Room store operations, including compliance, policy adherence, ingestion, training, and execution of operational initiatives. This role ensures operational accuracy, continuous improvement, and consistent delivery of high‑quality service across all departments. Essential Job Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Oversee and execute all initiatives outlined on the master calendar. Ensure day‑to‑day operations run smoothly through effective leadership and delegation. Collaborate with cross‑divisional teams to align on strategic objectives and operational plans. Maintain audit readiness and ensure stores achieve acceptable compliance scores. Ensure the operations team meets shrink reduction goals. Establish and implement operational policies, standards, and procedures for retail staff. Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies and procedures. Collaborate closely with Co‑Managers to achieve organizational goals. Oversee inventory cycle counts and audits in partnership with the Inventory Supervisor. Partner with Human Resources to support: Interviewing, recruiting, and hiring based on store needs and performance tiers Training managers and employees using SOPs, compliance audits, and policy tools Managing onboarding, training calendars, and new hire completion Continuous training through modules, quizzes, tracking, and video content Performance reviews, succession planning, and bench development Coaching and corrective action for performance or compliance violations Provide leadership, guidance, and support that fosters continuous learning and operational excellence. Supervisory Responsibilities This position directly manages the hourly store operations team. Reports To General Manager & Assistant General Manager Departments Overseen Sales, Inventory, Dispatch, Delivery, Security, and Event Department hourly employees. Working Conditions Professional retail environment. Regular use of computers, phones, printers, and standard office equipment. Flex schedule required, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Regularly required to talk and hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, reach, and use hands or feet. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Basic Qualifications Minimum 21 years of age. Minimum 2 years of experience supervising training, quality, or customer service in retail. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with P&L responsibility. Strong knowledge of retail technology platforms and systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop business strategies. Preferred Qualifications Store management experience. Knowledge of cannabis products (strains, edibles, extracts, etc.). Prior dispensary experience. Strong customer service orientation.
