About the Role GV Farm Supply is seeking a hands-on Director of Operations & Manufacturing to lead operational execution across inventory, fulfillment, warehouse operations, manufacturing, logistics, and store operations coordination. This is a high-impact leadership role for an experienced operator who can bring structure, accountability, and momentum to a fast-moving, family-owned business. Reporting to the CEO, this leader will strengthen execution, improve performance visibility, and build a more scalable operating model across the business. Why This Role Matters This role is critical to improving inventory accuracy, increasing operational efficiency, reducing bottlenecks, and creating stronger accountability across core operations. This role will help the company move from reactive day-to-day problem-solving to a more disciplined, professionally managed operating environment. What You'll Do Lead daily operations across warehouse, fulfillment, inventory control, manufacturing, logistics, and store operations coordination. Build clear operating rhythms, team accountability, and process discipline across multiple functions. Oversee manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, workflow execution, and day-to-day operating performance. Improve production efficiency, throughput, labor utilization, and on-time execution. Establish and reinforce standard operating procedures and process controls. Improve inventory accuracy and strengthen cycle count discipline, warehouse organization, and inventory integrity. Streamline fulfillment workflows to improve service levels and reduce avoidable operational disruptions. Define, track, and manage key operational metrics, including inventory accuracy, fulfillment performance, labor productivity, production lead times, and margin-sensitive execution. Lead operational review meetings and drive corrective action when performance falls short. Hire, coach, and lead frontline operational team members across warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, and related functions. Build a culture of ownership, consistency, urgency, and follow-through. Use NetSuite and other operational systems to improve visibility, execution, and process reliability. Identify process breakdowns, eliminate waste, and build infrastructure that supports future growth. What We're Looking For Significant operations leadership experience in manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or other inventory-intensive environments. Strong inventory management experience, including inventory controls and accuracy improvement. Experience leading frontline teams and driving accountability in day-to-day operations. Demonstrated success improving systems, workflows, and operational discipline. Strong judgment in fast-moving environments, with the ability to prioritize issues and solve problems quickly. A direct, practical leadership style with the ability to build trust and raise standards. Preferred Qualifications Experience with NetSuite. Experience with manufacturing ERP and/or warehouse management systems. Experience working in a growing or owner-led business where operational infrastructure is being strengthened.
