The Operations Program Manager, reporting to the Executive Director in Duarte, CA, supports strategic and operational initiatives across City of Hope. The role manages program performance, key metrics, budgets, and timelines while driving efficiency and integration across support services. It assists in obtaining data, developing business cases, launching key initiatives, and outlining future action options. The position supports the launch of System Pathology and System Radiology/Imaging initiatives. It leads strategic projects from inception through implementation and coordinates with teams such as Finance, Business Development, Managed Care, and Enterprise BI. The role oversees project plans, daily execution, and standardized reporting to advance organizational priorities. As a successful candidate, you will: Serve as liaison with end users to define requirements, develop project scopes, and secure approvals. Oversee implementation, performance tracking, quality assurance, and post‑project reviews to ensure targets are met. Monitor schedules, changes, and budget impacts while maintaining clear communication among all stakeholders. Implement controls to ensure project benefits are realized and provide consulting on business cases, resource planning, and analytics. Coordinate support operations, lead performance improvement efforts, manage stakeholder alignment, and report initiative status to leadership.
Your qualifications should include:
Bachelor's degree in health administration, Public Health, or Business Administration. 4 additional years of experience plus the minimum experience requirement may substitute for minimum education. Two years of experience working in project management, healthcare or hospital operations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently.
