Job Summary The Harbor House Inn rests on the edge of the rustic Mendocino coastline. Guests retreat to the Harbor House Inn to enjoy an intimate, rejuvenating stay surrounded by pristine nature. The 11-guest room property features a private cove with panoramic views, walkable gardens, and a 20-seat Michelin-starred restaurant that serves a coastal-cuisine focused tasting menu Thursday-Monday evenings. The Inn is located just 30-minutes south of the historical village of Mendocino. We are looking to add a hospitality-driven, detail oriented innkeeper to our staff. Duties Booking reservations via email, phone, and in-person for the Inn and Restaurant Providing warm and helpful concierge services. Conducting room and property checks to ensure each room is immaculate prior to check-in. Bringing a solution-oriented mindset to items that may break or need replacement. Exhibiting proactive and clear communication with housekeeping, management, kitchen team, and all team members on site. Assisting with breakfast service - delivering breakfast to guest rooms, serving breakfast in our dining room, and preparing coffee and tea drinks. Utilizing various systems to manage guest communications, bookings, and purchases. Must be tech-savvy, or possess a willingness to learn how to use our systems. Must be able to carry up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time Experience Prior hotel experience with a strong understanding of front desk operations, guest services, or resort a plus Excellent customer service skills Bilingual or multilingual abilities to serve diverse guests a plus Familiarity with hotel management software systems and multi-line phone systems along with phone etiquette proficiency Perks of the
