Must have a minimum of 10 years experience in the role handling multi dealerships with both Domestic and Import brands. Fixed Operations Director role is to support dealership management with the company goal of creating lifetime customers by delivering an unsurpassed customer experience.
The more specific role includes:
Helping Service & Parts Managers run efficient and profitable departments through productive staffing, training, customer retention strategies, cost controls, safety & compliance, achievement of objectives, and maintenance of all fixed operations equipment. Responsible for:
  • Setting a clear vision for Parts and Service Departments to achieve targeted performance.
  • Overseeing and analyzing performance of Departments daily using Daily Operating Control, Efficiency and Productivity control, warranty reports, comeback reports, Report Order and Parts Invoice trends, and etc to identify areas of improvement.
  • Develop action plans to improve performance.
  • Preparing budget goals and objectives for each department and monitoring departments performance.
  • Dealership visits across Northern California
  • Support, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all service & parts department staff.
  • Attracting, developing and retaining talent for the stores.
  • Developing processes for departments to ensure consistent follow ups to create and maintain positive relationships with customers to drive customer loyalty and CSI.
  • Ensuring that service repairs are performed efficiently and correctly by conducting spot checks on jobs.
  • Managing the service/customer area is retail ready with proper displays, point of purchase information, comfort and cleanliness.
  • Must possess the business integrity to work closely with and foster positive relationships with our manufacturer partners.
  • Managing the departments in accordance with company and manufacturer requirements and processes.
  • Driving business through a high level of involvement in the day to day operations.
Qualifications:
  • At least 10 years of experience in fixed operations management of multiple stores with proven success in leading and managing a team to meet or exceed goals.
  • Prior Service and/or Parts Management experience
  • Hands on Management style
  • Strong computer and phone skills
  • Must be able to work an extended hours schedule, including weekends
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to speak professionally before employees and customers.
  • Strong financial and business acumen and the ability to drive revenue and profitability
  • Valid in state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record. Please email with resume
