WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead the Warranty Prior Approval (PA) and Post Claim Review (PCR) Operation to review and authorize or decline high cost / priority warranty and campaign claims prior to work being completed and before paying claims. Lead the Warranty Technical Center(s) operation to request and evaluate post repair parts to confirm dealer compliance with warranty policy, Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) and identify opportunities to validate proper repair, lower repair costs, and increase product quality. Support achieving company objectives for Fix Right First Time in support of benchmark levels of Service Satisfaction/CSI and Total Cost of Quality including warranty cost. Support NHTSA compliance through effective support of recall/campaign completion and repair validation.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Develop and operate an omnichannel PA/PCR support model, including strategy, systems, and staffing, to provide dealers with timely and accurate claim guidance. Lead the Warranty Technical Center by directing parts returns, evaluating post-repair parts, ensuring warranty compliance, and applying dealer chargebacks as needed. Partner closely with the Warranty team to align and continuously improve warranty policies and procedures. Drive operational efficiency through waste elimination, process simplification, and streamlining complex workflows. Lead the adoption of AI and intelligent automation to reduce manual effort and enable scalable, data-driven operations. Collaborate with Field Technical Operations and Quality & Service Engineering to enhance TSIs, diagnostic tools, TSBs, and special tools; escalate issues requiring fixes or improvements. Ensure all teams identify and report potential safety issues in accordance with NASO processes and support investigations with data sharing. Develop internal and external staffing strategies; recruit, train, motivate, and retain talent in alignment with HMA policies. Create and manage business plans and budgets; track performance and adjust resources as needed. Select, contract, and manage vendors, including RFPs, scope definition, performance management, and payment approvals. Partner cross-functionally with Service, CX, Quality, After-Sales, Sales, Field Ops, and Retail Training to achieve business objectives. Lead employee performance management, coaching, career development, travel approvals, and policy governance aligned with division objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Must be a high school graduate. Bachelor's degree preferred. Master's degree a plus. Ten or more years of relevant experience, of which at least eight years of directly related experience in OEM service. Three or more years of technical supervisory experience required. Thorough automotive technical knowledge required. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent presentation skills. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage multiple, complex programs simultaneously.

OTHER DETAILS
Normal office duties. Occasional lifting and/or vehicle mechanical assembly/disassembly. Work requires vehicle evaluations, travel to meetings, site visits, and inspections. This requires possession of a valid state driver's license and good driving record. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
